A Tiny Miracle Named TIM

At just six weeks old, a tiny kitten arrived at Indianapolis Animal Care Services with a terrible head wound that left his skull exposed so badly he couldn’t close his right eye. He was scared, alone, and barely clinging to life.

A sweet, injured kitten is held very carefully by an animal control officer with Indianapolis Animal Care Services.

Staff at the shelter knew they had to act right away or he wouldn’t make it. As they rushed to contact a vet for emergency surgery, they gave him a special name: TIM, or “Tiny Injured Man.”

Little TIM was a fighter from the start and his surgery proved that. The vet stitched him up and he showed the world he was ready for a life of hope, love, and cuddles.

Post-surgery, TIM was awake and ready for his healing journey to begin.

The same IACS staff member who named him offered to take him home and nurse him through his recovery so he would be ready for adoption. Soon, he was able to close both eyes and eventually had enough strength to be available for adoption. He’s now living his best life with his forever family.

Your donations covered the cost of TIM’s life-saving surgery but no amount of money could put a price on his hope and happiness.

Tiny TIM can now open and close both eyes…just don’t bring up his hair cut (he’s a little shy about it.)
