In 2018 Kurt Flock was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. Kurt survived cancer, and Kate Flock survives living with Kurt. To spread joy and happiness during the Covid-19 lockdown they decided in 2021 to hang a few lights on their Old Northside home at 1219 N. Alabama Street. What started as a simple holiday display and gesture ofgratitude has gotten out of hand (Hello Clark Griswold!). This season Kurt and Kate are partnering with Friends of Indy Animals and dedicating their Winter Lights Display to support Indianapolis Animal Care Services.
